School Mission

We are very proud of our strong, diverse community and are always seeking to build relationships between students, families, and staff. We are focused on helping students grow in their social-emotional wellness and regulation skills through our positive behavior intervention system, called The Lynndale Way, and by implementing direct social-emotional learning opportunities in the classroom.

About our Building

Opened: 2018. Thanks to a voter-approved Capital Construction Bond, Edmonds School District built a new facility that replaced the existing 1956 Lynndale Elementary School. The school was rebuilt on the same site.

Square footage: Approximately 68,000 square feet, including classrooms, gymnasium, library, commons area and main office. The two-story facility takes advantage of its proximity to the ravine with large expanses of windows onto outdoor learning areas.

Our Mission

Our mission is to advocate for each and every student by providing learning environments that embrace their cultural and linguistic diversity as an asset that will prepare them for success as lifelong learners and responsible world citizens.

Invitation to Participate

We embrace reciprocal partnerships with our families to meet them where they are and honor and respect their cultural and lived experiences. One of our strategic goals is to communicate and partner with families and community members so they understand their role in supporting the students in our district.
