Classroom Helpers

Do you have an hour or two you could share each week? Many of our teachers value adult volunteers in their classrooms, to help with everything from listening to students read, to helping with math problems, to working with young writers on their manuscripts. Sometimes that little bit of extra adult attention makes all the difference!

Watch DOGS

Don't let the title scare you - DOGS stands for Dads Of Great Students, only we include Stepdads, Guardians, Grandfathers, Uncles, and Excellent Neighbors in the list of positive male role models who qualify for the program. Watch DOGS might help out in the classroom, greet school buses and help with parking lot safety, patrol the perimeter of the playground during recess, or assist in any number of special projects. The program is designed specifically to get MEN into our elementary school to serve as role models. If you can commit to even one day each year, we promise you'll enjoy your day!

You Tell Us!

The ops above are just the beginning! We know many of you have talents that could enrich and inspire kids at Lynndale. We'd love to hear from you! There are activities and events that are continually developing through the school year, and we're always looking for ways to connect our community and our kids. Maybe you could help with Science Day or the Spelling Bee or add a Sewing or Craft Club to our Afterschool program. If you have an idea, please share it!
